The New York Giants re-signing of defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul proves that you can never have enough pass rushers on a roster.
According to recent reports, the JPP and the Giants agreed to a four-year deal with $54 million guaranteed. There are probably a lot of folks out there that are probably wondering if the Giants are overpaying for the services of Jason-Pierre-Paul.
But when you are in a division that you will face quarterbacks such as Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins, and Carson Wentz, you have no other choice but to keep the best pass rushers on your roster. Now that the Giants have resigned JPP, they can now focus on other areas to improve the football team.
Recently, they have parted ways with wide receiver Victor Cruz and added All-Pro Brandon Marshall to contribute to an offense that was stagnant for the majority of the 2016 season.
Jason Pierre-Paul has waited almost two years to cash in on his big payday, now that he has done that, he can now help the Giants contend for the NFC East Title in 2017.
