Last Sunday the New Orleans Saints were on the road against the heavily favored Pittsburgh Steelers. They were not expected to be productive because they tend to struggle when they are not in the confines of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
However when the Saints defense decides to show up and play Brees and the Saints can be a very dangerous ball club to face down the stretch. The Saints defense forced Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, to throw two interceptions which resulted in Saints touchdowns.
Another plus for the Saints was that the running game was clicking on all cylinders when Mark Ingram carried the ball for 23 times and rushed for 123 yards. At the end of the day, Brees finished the day with 257 yards passing and five touchdowns. The NFC South Title will most likely be decided between the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints in week 16.
The loser of that matchup should prepare for their offseason fishing trip because they will not make the playoffs. For the winner, it will only be the beginning of their journey to Glendale, Arizona. It should be an exciting matchup between the two hated rivals down south.
