The debate in regards to Kobe Bryant being the closest thing to Michael Jordan is not even up for discussion in my opinion. The “Black Mamba” contributed to the Lakers winning five NBA World Titles during his reign of greatness in the National Basketball Association.
On the court, Bryant took his opponents to task and never looked back to show compassion. After the Shaq and Kobe Era of Lakers basketball had ended, Bryant solidified himself as the team’s primary option.
During his time as the main attraction for the Lakers, the “Black Mamba” would lead the team to two NBA World Titles. Bryant epitomized the true meaning of how an individual playing professional basketball can elevate himself from being a being a pretty decent player to one of the greatest hoopers to ever get on the court over the last twenty years.
Kobe improved his craft as a professional basketball player by constant hard work and determination. Bryant’s many accomplishments include 14-time All-Star selection, league Most Valuable Player Award and a 15-time All8-NBA First Team Selection.
