Gridiron Fanatic Player of the Week: Ben Roethlisberger

Last Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had one of the greatest games in league history. He passed for 522 yards and six touchdown passes. His 522 yards were fourth highest in NFL History. The Steelers have seemed to hit their stride in the last few games after their debacle in Cleveland. As of right now they are currently third in the AFC North standings.

Just like I predicted in August, the AFC North has turned into a heated four way battle for the covenant division title and a possible 1st round bye in the postseason. The Steelers will lean on Ben’s veteran leadership to guide them back to dominance in the AFC.

Up next for Roethlisberger and the Steelers is the hated Baltimore Ravens. The last time they faced each other it was a no contest for the Steelers, in their second meeting I expect the Steelers to give the Ravens all they can handle on Sunday Night Football.
