So far the Minnesota Vikings are 1-0 in playing games on a primetime stage. They will try to make it 2-0 when they take on the New York Giants on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
The Vikings defense has had impressive performances against signal callers such as Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers. Can they have another stellar performance against the passing combination of Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr, it is very possible.
The Vikings secondary will have their hands full with three wide receivers that are capable of lighting up the scoreboard in Odell Beckham Jr, Victor Cruz, and Sterling Shepard. However, the bigger question will be how Sam Bradford will respond if the Vikings are down by a huge deficient in this football game. So far, the Vikings have not had to deal with losing by a large margin yet.
The possibility of the Giants blowing out the Vikings on Monday Night Football will not happen, but their defense may give up that one huge play that could allow them to lose this football game. The Giants need to win this game more than the Vikings do right now. If the Giants lose this game, they could fall to the last place in the NFC East standings.
I don’t believe that’s how Ben McAdoo wants to start off his first season as Giants head coach. My final prediction for this ball game is that Giants will leave the brand new U.S. Bank Stadium with a victory and some breathing room in the NFC East.
