This Sunday Night Peyton Manning will have another chance at making history in the NFL when he will attempt to break Brett Favre’s career pass td record. However in his way will be the “bend but don’t break” San Francisco 49ers who head into this matchup winning three consecutive games. Even without NaVorro Bowman and Aldon Smith the Niners have been able to weather the storm in the highly competitive NFC.
The 49ers defense must do what other great teams have done against Manning which is keep him off the field as much as possible and score at will on offense if you can’t contain him. Other than the Seahawks this will be the Broncos second biggest matchup of the 2014 season so far they are 0-1 in big game matchups.
A win in this matchup will be huge for the Broncos who must show that they are able to compete with NFC’S best. My prediction for this ball game is that the 49ers will keep it close in the first half but Manning and the Broncos will pull away in the second half as he makes history once again.
