2015 Rose Bowl Game Prediction: 2 Oregon vs 3 Florida State

Oregon        38
Florida State 42

After countless games of coming from behind the College Football Playoff Committee were impressed enough to include the defending National Champions the Florida State Seminoles into the first ever College Football Playoffs. Even though they won the games that they should have defeated their opponents by 35 points the playoff committee would stop at nothing to not include Florida State in the playoffs. However the Florida State Seminoles stepped up and defeated every team that stood in its path in pursuit of their fourth National Title. Playing in big games such as this one is no stranger to the Noles.

They were one of the first teams to play in the first ever Bowl Championship Series National Title Game in which they lost to the Tennessee Volunteers back in 1999. Fast forward to 2015 and the Seminoles will once again play in college football’s third chance at having a true national champion. Both of these programs have two dynamic quarterbacks in Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. These two quarterbacks will most likely get drafted 1 and 2 in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft in Chicago.

We all know about the fire power that the Oregon Ducks possess, however history tells us that in big games outside of the PAC -12 the Ducks seemed to struggle with teams that are capable of punching them in the mouth i.e. Auburn in 2011 National Title Game or conference rival Stanford who has ruined the Ducks championship hopes on numerous occasions. The Oregon Ducks must not take their foot off the pedal against the Seminoles if they want to advance to the National Title game in Arlington, Texas.

Jameis Winston and the Noles are noted for coming from behind in the second half and erasing huge deficits. Other than their home loss in which they avenged in the PAC-12 Championship Game against Arizona, it has been smooth sailings for the Oregon Ducks this season. On the other hand opposing teams have given the Seminoles their best efforts to knock them off of college football immortality.

In all of those games they rose to the occasion and showed the nation why they are the defending National Champions. My prediction for this game is that Winston and the Noles will once again face a huge 1st half deficit only to come from behind to defeat the Oregon Ducks in a thrilling fourth quarter comeback in the same stadium that he led them to their third national title in team history.
